Replacing the HEPA filter drum is easy! Just remove the four screws from the bottom of the case. Then lift off the case from the filter drum! Next pull out the HEPA filter drum from the unit case and replace it will a new HEPA filter drum! Replace the four screws, turn the unit upright and your back in business of cleaning your indoor air with a newly installed HEPA filter drum in just a few minutes!
Austin Air also manufactures smaller HEPA air purifier units called Junior models. We have never sold these JR models because the air exchange rate per hour is much lower than the more significant Healthmate standard and plus models. Still, for the price difference between the two units, you are better off with the standard and plus-size models even in smaller bedroom-sized rooms!
